Privacy notice
Last updated 11 October 2026
This notice covers this website and the FlockGuard waitlist. FlockGuard is made by TriangleCarrot, which is responsible for your information. You can contact us at hello@trianglecarrot.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Your answers to the optional questions: roughly how many birds you keep, and what kind of spare computer you have.
That's all. We don't ask for your name, address or anything about your birds beyond that.
What we use it for
- To email you about FlockGuard: early access invitations, launch news and occasional updates on progress.
- To understand who's interested, for example which computers to support first. We look at the answers in aggregate.
We rely on your consent to do this. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any of our emails or by writing to the address above, and we'll remove you from the list.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing. They are kept in our own email account or on a server we run, and only we can see them.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove you, or until we stop developing FlockGuard, whichever comes first. If FlockGuard launches, we'll ask whether you want to stay on the mailing list.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it doesn't load anything from other companies' servers. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time for security.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
The FlockGuard app
This notice is about the website and waitlist only. The FlockGuard app will have its own privacy notice, explaining how camera footage and flock data are handled, before it's released.
